Don't Test, Don't Tell (10 Days Later)

Governments worldwide are restricting coronavirus testing not because tests are unavailable or expensive, but to maintain a political narrative of control. A single unconfirmed case spread the disease to over 120 hospital workers in one week. Meanwhile, countries report statistical impossibilities: more confirmed infections among citizens who traveled abroad than exist within their own borders, revealing that low case counts reflect testing restrictions, not disease absence.

•        A ventilated patient suspected of coronavirus was denied testing for four days because they didn't fit CDC criteria. By the time testing was approved, over 120 UC Davis hospital staff had been exposed to airborne transmission, with at least 36 nurses quarantined and three staff at another facility already infected from a single case.

•        The test itself is not difficult or expensive to produce. Universities and industrial labs in dozens of countries could manufacture thousands of kits weekly. The bottleneck isn't technology or resources. It's policy.

•        Statistical anomalies reveal the true scope of concealment. Egypt has tested only a few hundred people among 100 million citizens, yet more confirmed coronavirus cases exist among Egyptians who traveled to Egypt than within Egypt itself. The same pattern repeats globally, country after country.

•        This policy serves a single purpose: maintaining a constructed narrative of governmental calm and competence.Leaders convince themselves citizens cannot handle truth, particularly bad news. They believe controlled information buys time to develop strategy.

•        When this strategy collapses, cities fall. Wuhan's healthcare system became a source of infection rather than healing when over 30 percent of doctors and nurses contracted COVID-19. The government responded by abandoning the city and confining 9 million people to their homes, allowing the disease to burn itself out.
