Kris Abdelmessih
Kris Abdelmessih has spent over 25 years trading options on equities, indices, and commodity futures. He began on the exchange floors of New York, spending more than a decade as a market maker — first at Susquehanna International Group, then as a sole proprietor. He went on to serve as a portfolio manager at Parallax, a San Francisco-based volatility-focused hedge fund, where he spent another decade founding and running their commodity options business. Kris is one of the most widely-read voices in the trading and derivatives space, writing for nearly a decade for over 25k subscribers under the Moontower brand — an umbrella covering his writing, consulting/advising, and options analytics software. He lives in the East Bay with his wife and two sons.
